Scarcity is an undercurrent to many a global phenomenon around the world today, including unemployment and underemployment. Basically, the less of a high-demand item you have, the greater its value, which means the higher its price. Here’s how transitioning military Members, Veterans and Retirees (“Veterans”) can lever scarcity in their favor during their transition!
The Project Management Institute:
Estimates there are currently 51 million project managers in the 3-billion strong workforce today; i.e. PMs with experience.
Reports there are about 725,000 PMPs in that workforce; i.e. PMs with qualification.
Also predicts the global economy will add another 16.7 PM jobs over the next 5 years or so.
This means that the many Veterans that already possess significant amounts of project management experience and leadership talent are half way to meaningful lucrative careers in project management; they just need to ‘qualify’ their experience.
I show you how every Wednesday night in a free Missing TAP Class! You can register at www.vets2pm.com and learn how to use 3 simple tools in a simple 3-step process to quantify and qualify your project management experience for the PMP® application, your resume, and your interview! It works.
We’ve helped scores of Veterans place with Fortune 100 companies and nationally recognized non-profit organizations, starting with salaries ranging from $80-$95,000.00, doing meaningful work through high-performing teams using the management and leadership experience you already possess.
A career in project management can be the tide that raises your boat; lever scarcity in your favor today!
